Thanks to everyone who has been in touch about internships! We are currently accepting applications for the following openings:

1) 2014-2015 internships in our Seattle office, starting in July 2014. This is for students and poets who want to learn about publishing. Interns work on a wide variety of projects, including publicity, production, marketing, events, and research. Internships are year-long and six hours per week, though this is flexible. Course credit available. We will be accepting applications for this internship during the month of April.

2) Social media internship, year-long, starting May 1. The social media intern helps promote Wave Books and our authors through Facebook, Twitter, and other forms of social media. We will accept applications for this position through April 15. Applicants from anywhere in the US or Canada are invited to apply.

To apply for either of these positions, please send a CV and a brief cover letter to "Wave staff" via In your letter, please try to address the following: which position you are applying for, what you hope to learn, and why you want to work for Wave specifically. Email us if you have any questions.

(Note: We will not have summer internships in 2014. Please do not apply if you're hoping for a summer-only internship. Thanks!)
