SHO by Douglas Kearney is a finalist for the PEN Award

We are delighted to share the news that Douglas Kearney's Sho has been named a 2021 finalist for the PEN/Voleckner Award in poetry.

Congratulations to fellow finalists: Mai Der Vang (Yellow Rain: Poems, Graywolf Press); Atsuro Riley (Heard-Hoard, University of Chicago Press); Diane Seuss (frank: sonnets, Graywolf Press); and Phillip B. Williams (Mutiny, Penguin Books). This year's poetry judges are Lillian-Yvonne Bertram, Lia Purpura, Safiya Sinclair.

 The PEN Awards Ceremony will be held in-person on Monday, February 28th from 8pm–10pm ET at Town Hall in New York City.
