Eric Baus was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1975. Winner of the 2002 Verse Prize, selected by Forrest Gander, his publications include The To Sound and the chapbooks The Space Between Magnets (Diaeresis), A Swarm In The Aperture (Margin to Margin), and Something Else The Music Was (Braincase Press). His second full-length book Tuned Droves (Octopus Books) will be published in 2008. He edits Minus House chapbooks and is a contributing editor for PENNsound. He currently lives in Denver.
