Diane Wald's awards include a two-year fellowship in poetry from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Grolier Poetry Prize, The Denny Award, The Open Voice Award, the Anne Halley Poetry Prize, and a Massachusetts Artists Foundation grant. Her book Lucid Suitcase was published by Red Hen Press in 1999 and her latest book, The Yellow Hotel, was published by Verse Press in the fall of 2002. Her chapbook faustinetta, gegenschein, trapunto, published by Cervena Barva Press is available here. She works for animal welfare at the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Boston.
